Ústí kupuje autobusy s vodíkovým pohonem. Jako první v Česku

V Ústí nad Labem bude do konce dekády jezdit až dvacítka autobusů s vodíkovým pohonem. Tamnímu dopravnímu podniku je dodá polská společnost Solaris Bus&Coach, informuje s odkazem na registr smluv server Zdopravy.cz. Jeden vodíkový autobus vyjde na 15,1 milionu korun, celková výše kontraktu tak přesahuje 300 milionů.

Vozy budou technicky vycházet z konvenčně poháněného nízkopodlažního modelu Solaris Urbino 12, který jezdí v řadě českých měst od Chomutova až po Ostravu. Číslovka v označení označuje délku karoserie v metrech.

Vodíková verze Urbino 12 Hydrogen využívá k pohonu portálovou nápravu od německé společnosti ZF, která má na každé straně elektromotor o výkonu 125 kW. Napájí je trakční baterie, kterou zásobuje energií palivový článek o výkonu 70 kW. Pět kompozitových nádrží, každá o objemu 312 l, umožňuje autobusu ujet až 350 km. Samozřejmě zcela bez emisí, jediným odpadním produktem je u tohoto typu pohonu čistá voda.

Plnicí stanice nejen pro vodíkové autobusy ústeckého dopravního podniku má vzniknout v areálu bývalé Spolchemie. Do tendru na její výstavbu se ale podle Zdopravy.cz zatím nikdo nepřihlásil. Zatím jediný vodíkový autobus v ČR jezdil několik let ve středočeských Neratovicích.

Vodíkový pohon je v průmyslu výroby silničních motorových vozidel velmi skloňované téma. Někteří v něm vidí možnost, jak obejít zásadní nedostatek bateriových elektromobilů, totiž velmi dlouhé nabíjení. Jiní ale poukazují na to, že celkovou emisní bilanci tohoto typu pohonu výrazně ovlivňuje vysoká energetická náročnost výroby samotného vodíku, stejně jako jeho problematická přeprava a skladování. Vyrábět vodík ekologicky šetrnou cestou z obnovitelných zdrojů sice možné je a experimentálně se to také děje, něco jiného je však ekonomicky smysluplná výroba v průmyslovém měřítku.

Vodíkový pohon přesto nabízejí nebo připravují do sériové výroby i mnozí další výrobci nákladních vozů a autobusů, mimo jiné Daimler či Iveco. Z výrobců osobních automobilů s vodíkem alespoň experimentuje například BMW nebo Hyundai a Toyota dokonce i v Česku formálně prodává vodíkový model Mirai, přestože ho prakticky není kde plnit. Volkswagen naopak vsadil vše na kartu bateriových elektromobilů a vůči vodíku se ústy svého šéfa veřejně vymezuje.

Na vodík se chce spolehnout rovněž tuzemská logistická služba Zásilkovna. Elektromobily považuje pro svoje potřeby za nevhodné, zejména kvůli už zmiňovanému nabíjení. Proto chce vybudovat vlastní plnicí stanici a vyrábět vodík ve vlastní režii s využitím fotovoltaiky. „Vodík dává smysl pro náš byznys, a to z důvodu dojezdu a vlivu na životní prostředí,“ řekla Petra Císařová ze Zásilkovny na konferenci Barvy vodíku.
